Ronan Hynes speaks out on Foster Care Report
On 23rd May 2019, RTE Investigates reported on the findings of the National Review Panel which carried out an investigation into the quality of services provided at a Dunmore Foster Care Home in Co. Galway. The report found that there were systemic flaws in management and oversight and a deviation from best practice procedures, which resulted in several foster care children suffering grave and heinous sexual abuse by the son of a foster care parent.
