MHP Sellors LLP Solicitors, 2023 Civil Litigation Law Firm of the Year, twice winners of Munster Law Firm of the Year and twice winners of Clare Business Excellence Awards Professional Services Excellence Award are currently seeking a Junior Litigation Solicitor to join their firm

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and nationally respected firm with a strong reputation and a loyal client base.

The successful candidate will be based in our Ennis office and will work out of our Limerick office from time to time. Flexible working arrangements available.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide expert legal advice to clients.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution methods.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to develop effective case strategies and ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive case files, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and guiding them through the legal process.
  • Assist with the handling of regulatory and enforcement matters for statutory bodies.
  • Analysing legal submissions and drafting detailed and well-reasoned advices on matters of statutory interpretation.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with strong experience in litigation at District, Circuit and High Court levels.
  • Demonstrated experience handling a range of litigation cases.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant legal principles, procedures, and statutes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide sound legal advice.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with organisational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Confidence in advocating for clients in court and during negotiations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while also being proactive and self-motivated.
