MHP Sellors Celebrates Dual Wins at the 2026 Irish Law Awards

Managing Partner Stephen Keogh has led MHP Sellors’ Corporate & Commercial Team to national success after it was named Corporate/Commercial Law Team of the Year at the 2026 Irish Law Awards. In a second major success for the firm, Partner Ronan Hynes was recognised as Lawyer of the Year for Munster. These achievements continue a remarkable period of growth and recognition for MHP Sellors, coming just one year after the firm was named Irish Law Firm of the Year.
Corporate & Commercial Team Recognised Nationally
MHP Sellors’ Corporate & Commercial Team received the prestigious Corporate/Commercial Law Team of the Year award, recognising the team’s expertise in advising businesses, organisations and public sector clients on significant transactions, commercial projects and strategic initiatives.
The team comprises Stephen Keogh, Partner Caroline Meaney and Solicitor Yulija Lennon, and has built a strong reputation for delivering commercially focused legal advice across a broad range of sectors. The award reflects both the quality of the team’s work and the collaborative support provided by colleagues across the firm.
In the period prior to receiving the award, the team advised on a number of notable transactions and projects, including:
- Metis Ireland’s acquisition by NFP
- Trade Electric Group’s acquisition of Mullingar Electrical Wholesale
- Ongoing strategic advisory work for the Local Government sector

Ronan Hynes Named Munster Lawyer of the Year
The firm’s success was further strengthened when Partner Ronan Hynes was named Lawyer of the Year – Regional Winner for Munster, recognising his outstanding work in healthcare, medical negligence and patient safety law.
Ronan Hynes leads MHP Sellors’ Healthcare Team and is widely recognised for his commitment to clients navigating complex and sensitive medical negligence claims, including birth injuries, delayed diagnosis cases, and brain and spinal cord injuries.
This year, Ronan and his team have secured a number of significant settlements for clients living with acquired brain injuries and birth-related injuries, helping to provide access to rehabilitation, care and improved quality of life for those affected.
